Val (they/them) has been teaching for over 10 years and is originally from Montreal, with experience teaching in both Vancouver and Montreal. Thoughout their teaching career they have work within the strength and conditioning world focused on correction exercise therapy, spin, HIIT, and pilates. Trained in Stott Pilates, Val incorporates a blend of classical and contemporary styles.
What to expect in their classes, we’ll move to the rhythm of the music, beginning with a grounding, restorative practice. From there, we’ll flow into movements that allow you to embody the music, diving deep into sensations within your body. Free-flowing movement will help you connect with your own inner voice, and we’ll close with another grounding practice to support you for the rest of your day
