Originally from New Zealand, life had taken me all over the world and although I’d travelled extensively, I still felt unfulfilled.
The need to do yoga made itself known at an early age and it wasn’t until I started my yoga practice that I began to feel a sense of fulfillment….“the light at the end of the tunnel”, so to speak. My yoga journey led me to Bikram Yoga in 2007 and what can I say but….wow! I’ve been kicking my ass ever since and I look forward to kicking yours, or at least helping you kick your own, very soon!
As a teacher, I love seeing the many positive changes in peoples lives and being there when people have those ‘Ah-haaaaaa’ moments. The big smile, maybe a tear, maybe even a “holy #%*# look what I’m doing…..can you believe it?!” when someone get’s into a posture they once considered impossible, for the first time. That is one of the great lessons of yoga……nothing is impossible! Awesome!
One word to describe my yoga practice: MESSY
One word to describe teaching Bikram Yoga: CHALLENGING
If you were a cartoon character, which would you be?: IS THERE A LAZY DWARF?
