Instructor for Bikram

My wife, Lorraine and I moved to Courtenay from North Vancouver in 2005 (which was the best decision we’ve ever made!)

My yoga journey began a few years later in 2010, after being advised by my massage therapist that stretching would be good for a hip issue I was dealing with.

Then an opportunity to try Bikram Yoga presented itself. I was addicted after my first class! With a dedicated practice, I began seeing changes not only in my health but physically, mentally and spiritually. This is what I was looking for.

I knew I wanted to teach and share the benefits of this yoga so in the spring of 2015, I attended the teacher training program (boot camp) in Thailand. After nine weeks, two classes a day and A LOT more, I received my teaching certificate and have enjoyed every moment and will continue to for the rest of my life.

I want to thank all the students, fellow teachers and the owners of our beautiful studio for all your hard work and support. Without it, none of it would be possible. I continue to practice and suffer with everyone and in doing so we all make our community a lot brighter.

Inspiration comes from within, dig deep!!

Namaste

P.S. My hip issue is all but gone
